Portrait of a French Couple in a Forest Landscape circa 1885. The artist is Louis Henri Deschamps, French 1846-1902. Beautiful, large oil painting depicting a couple from Brittany, France signed in the lower left corner by Deschamps. It also seems there is two numbers under the signature that read 87, but it's hard to tell so we marked it circa 1885. Deschamps lived and worked in France 1846-1902. The painting measures 60" tall by 52" wide in the frame. It protrudes from the wall ...
