With unusually high stance, this kettle stand/candlestand has unconventional ball standard and was found in Virginia. I cannot be sure of its origin and describe it as PA/MD/or VA in origin, circa 1770. 28.5" high and 16" diameter (single board top, of course).
23" wide, 16 3/4" deep, 29" high. Having top that tilts and with uprights that can slide up and down in varying heights, the lower flaps pivot and with long short drawer, as illustrated. Circa 1820.
