Choice small-scale corner cupboard, English or Irish, circa 1770, will fit a corner of about 26" and total height of 86" and with raised paneled doors and with shaped shelves inside.
Fine Walnut veneer tall case clock, with 8-day time and strike movement, maker: Francis Robinson, London. Britten records Robinson as apprenticed to Henry Jones in 1707 and master in 1725. Some of his clocks are inscribed, like this example, "In the Temple" and Britten also notes an example inscribed: "servant to His Royal Highness" and another example with square dial and cherub corners, 1706-26. 23" wide, 16 3/4" deep, 29" high. Having top that tilts and with uprights that can slide up and down in varying heights, the lower flaps pivot and with long short drawer, as illustrated. Circa 1820.
