29.5" x 41.5" oil on cradled oak panel. Fantasy view of Solomon's temple complete with the Holy of Holies and an area for animal sacrifices. Neefs completed several in this genre, although this is the only depiction of Solomon's Temple I can find in the literature. Note inscription with date of 1613.
Oil on canvas, approx. 19 5/8" x 23" the artist was a student of Thomas Wyck and Philip Wouverman and specialized in related views of battles and horses--note the images fail to capture the quality of the figures.
