Noted Washington, DC artist, oil on canvas board approx. 10" x 14" Impressionist..bio from Ask art: A painter and dentist, Robert Motley, born in Michigan, was based in Washington DC where he was a member of the Washington Art Club and exhibited with that group as well as the Washington Landscape Club and the Society of Washington Artists. As an artist, he was self taught and spent time in the Army before settling in DC where he remained until his death.
