This oval pastel portrait is a charming folk art piece from the first half of the 19th C. It is painted on tan paper and measures 16.5" x 13" and 19" x 16" framed.

24.5" x 29" oil on panel, this work dates to the late 1920's and Vrey is listed in Marlor's Society of Inde Artists where he exhibited in 1928. In all likelihood, this is a view in Hackensack, NJ. Now framed.
