Portrait Of A Woman Pulling On Her Necklace an Oil Painting by Ronald Gray dated 1907 Ronald Gray lived in England between 1861-1951. This portriat oil painting measures 24" tall by 20" wide and is oil paint on canvas. In the frame the painting measures 25.5" wide by 30" tall. Ronald Gray studied at the Westminister School of Art. The Westminster School of Art was located at 18 Tufton Street, Deans Yard, Westminster, and was part of the old Royal Architectural Museum. In 1904 the art school moved and merged with the Westminster Technical Institute, in a two-story building on Westminster's Vincent Square, established by the philanthropy of Angela Burdett-Coutts, 1st Baroness Burdett-Coutts in 1893. Ronald Gray also studied at the Académie Julian. The Academy Julian was a private art school for painting and sculpture founded in Paris, France, in 1867 by French painter and teacher Rodolphe Julian that was active from 1868 through 1968. He exhibited 10 portraits at Royal Watercolour Society and the New English Art Club in 1891 and 1892. This work is dated 1907.
