'Alsace' depicting weeping woman in commemoration of the Franco-Prussian War. Note, formerly the property of Russian banker Aleksei Ivanovich Putilov (1860-1940), acquired in Paris in 1917. 9.5" high
Bought in Israel, circa 1970's--the better model has signature, the taller figure has faint signature scratched into surface. 6.5" wide for reclining nude and 9" high for the standing nude. Nice to keep them together as two.
